Bordighera

Believed to be the founder of impressionist painting in France, Monet was a constant employer of exhibiting to the core one's view of nature. In particular, he applied it to open-air landscape painting. Painted in the Riviera Italy, the artist has shown Bordighera emerging from the pine trees. It is specifically the Citta Alta of Bordighera that is shown in the oil in canvas. The painting appears to be a top view and above the city is the green foliage. The villas in the painting seem blended in what the artist suggests to be an impressively harsh terrain. The white in the landscape stands out almost at first glance courtesy of the green and blue colours that have been used to the hilt. The artist has also used a hint of yellow that generates slight warmth in the painting. Monet has used very creative brushstrokes to generate a vibrant effect that seems to indicate the very busy city. It is his travels to the Mediterranean regions that is said to have given the artist his vision of the bright seascape.
