The Last Supper is one of the famous paintings of 15th century. This painting was initiated in 1482 and it was instituted after 18 years by painter Leonardo di Ser Piero da Vinci in Milan for both his patron and duchess.
At first glance we take note of the large scene which involves a large dining affair among peasants. Taking a closer look we notice that on the left side of the painting a group of peasants are standing and waiting to be seated.
This fine art exhibits Van Gogh's own sadness. After having done many compositions with night scenes, Vincent van Gogh became fascinated with the starts and the light effects of the night.
